ABOUT PRODUCT |
Q : Are there any health effects associated with the use of CCFL antibacterial light? No. It is not a "medical device" that emits ultraviolet rays for treatment. It has been used as a lighting source for a long time and hasn't caused any damage to health. "Silver ion" is used in washing machine to sterilize the washing tub and in spray deodorants. "The photocatalytic reaction" of titanium oxide is a technology used for indoor deodorizing wallpaper and window coating (stain removal) in restaurant, etc. |
Q : Does it take longer to get brighter compared to LED lamp?Due to the characteristics of CCFL cold cathode tube, it takes a few seconds to 1 minute to fully bright when ambient temperature is low. Therefore, it consumes less power and long-lasting than fluorescent lamp and incandescent bulb. |
Q : Is there any problem with the indoor illuminance after replacing CCFL Antibacterial Light? In normal ceiling height (2.4 to 3m), it lights up without much discomfort. In environment such as "high ceiling" where the ceiling height exceeds 3m, it may be "darker" than conventional lighting fixture. In this case, replace it with a high ceiling lighting type (antibacterial bar light type) or install additional lighting (downlight etc.). |
Q : Is it effective against coronavirus?According to the results of JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) standard test, in the case of PED coronavirus, the inactivation effect was -61.5% after 4 hours and -97.5% after 8 hours at a distance of 30cm below the product (volume of 0.15㎥). Generally, the effectiveness decreases in inverse proportion to distance and volume. In an actual room, the effect drops to about one-third to one-tenth of the actual value as an instantaneous result. To compensate for this drop, we recommend extending the lighting time so that the effect is doubled in 2 hours, further quadrupled in 4 hours, and equal to the test result in 10 hours. |
Q : Do I need to rewire the light circuit?Conventional fluorescent lamp, LED fluorescent lamp(other than dual end powered type), and other lamps require a rewiring circuit. In particular, many conventional products from major companies (Panasonic, Toshiba, HITACHI, NEC, Mitsubishi, etc.) have different bases and may be difficult to install. Besides, please check in advance if the base of the fluorescent tube is compatible with the lamp you are going to install (G13 base). |
Q : Location and product options1⃣ Type of lighting : Light bulb (CCFL-HV11) Color : Daylight white / Warm white Effective range : 1.5㎡/piece Installation location : Toilet, Washroom, Bathroom etc. 2⃣ Type of lighting : Fluorescent tube (20D-12HV) Color : Daylight white Effective range : 2.0㎡/piece Installation location : Kitchen, Dining room, Walk-in closet etc. 3⃣ Type of lighting : Fluorescent tube (40D-25HV) Color : Daylight white Effective range : 3.3㎡/piece Installation location : Kitchen, Public toilet, Facility ceiling etc. 4⃣ Type of lighting : Downlight/Recessed light (CCFL-D10W/D12Y) Color : Daylight white / Warm white Effective range : 1.5~2.0㎡/piece Installation location : Hallway, Additional lighting, Private room etc. 5⃣ Type of lighting : Bar light (CCFL-BAR120WFL5) Color : Daylight white Effective range : 7.0㎡/unit Installation location : Facility ceiling etc. *More than 3m is also possible. |

Q : Do I need to keep the light on for a long time? When the light is on for more than 4 hours continuously, it will start to sanitize the space, and after 8 to 72 hours, it will decompose and sanitize adhering materials on wall, floor, desk, etc. After that, use it as usual when lighting is needed. In addition, we recommend that you turn on the light longer than usual when you are concerned about the smell, someone has a cold, influenza is prevalent. |

Q : Effect and lighting time?Lighting that can accumulate effects. The longer the light is on, the more antibacterial effect is accumulated. When the light is off, the effect remains at half of the time when the light is on. It is generally recommended to keep it on all the time, but try to keep it on for at least 4 hours. Operate the light in the same way as an air purifier. |

Q : Does the electricity bill increase when the light is on for a long time?Although the electricity bill is a little higher than LED lamp, it is a lighting product with antibacterial and deodorant effects. For example (Calculated based on Japanese electricity bill): CCFL bulb type, the power consumption is 11W per hour (1kw / h@26.48 yen) Electricity cost : 0.29 yen/ piece. LED bulb type, the power consumption is 9W per hour (1kw / h@26.48 yen) Electricity cost : 0.23 yen/ piece.
※Calculation method : Power consumption(W) / 1000 × usage time(hours) × unit price per kWh(yen/kWh) |

Q : What is CCFL?A cold cathode tube is a type of fluorescent lamp called Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL). The cold cathode tube is a long-lasting lamp, used as internal lighting and equipment lighting for light guide lamp, LCD TV, signboard and other electrical equipment. |
Q : What is photocatalyst? The oxidizing power of active oxygen destroys chemical bonds centered on harmful organic substances. It is also very effective against microorganisms, such as bacteria and mold. In addition, it eradicates harmful substances from its carcass. The titanium oxide used in this process is believed to be harmless to the human body at present. It not only kills bacteria, but also decomposes the substance itself into water and carbon dioxide, which can be removed naturally or easily. Furthermore, it works as a catalyst, so it never runs out. Titanium oxide photocatalyst is also used for wallpaper in house, etc., and for window coating in convenience store and family restaurant. |
Q : What is the difference between nanosilver and silver ion?Since the beginning of the 2000s, the antibacterial ability of silver has rapidly gained recognition. At one time, it was called "silver ion Ag+", at another time, "silver zeolite" or "silver coating". In 2006, the word "nanosilver" appeared in Japan. All expressions refer to antibacterial raw materials using silver, but strictly speaking, they are dividing to three types of material principle: silver ion, silver antibacterial agent, and nanosilver. Even if they are the same silver antibacterial agents, they will become completely different antibacterial materials in term of "property, characteristics, sterilization system and usage". |
Q : What is silver ion Ag+?Silver ion is a positively (+) charged cation of metallic silver (Ag) molecules dissolved in water, denoted as Ag+. Silver ion dissolved in water adhere to cell wall by binding to negatively charged bacteria and kills bacteria by destroying the cell wall. Even if the cell wall cannot be destroyed, the cation attached to the cell wall inhibit protein synthesis and prevent the cell from dividing, thereby preventing the growth by bacteria. Silver ion is used in spray deodorant and cleaning coatings for washing tub in washing machine. |
Q : What is silver antibacterial agent?Silver and other antibacterial metals are supported on various inorganic carriers. These inorganic antibacterial agents are generally considered to be safer than organic antibacterial agents, and are also considered to be superior in broad antibacterial spectral properties, durability, and heat resistance. |
Q : What is nanosilver?Nanosilver is ultrafine particle of silver. The material is all pure silver, and there is always a strong zeta potential on the outer surface. |
